Gina Parris talented actress, comedian and screenplay writer will show her talent in The Honest Honestest Truth. Gina Parris is CEO of Gina Parris Entertainment and the creator and writer of The Honest Honestest Truth. She has her Bachelors in Behavioural Science and Masters of Arts in Counseling. Using her training in psychology, she managed to enrich her acting and her scripts. Gina received her acting training from well known Trinidad acting icons Penelope Spencer and Raymond Choo Kong. She also got further acting training from talented LA acting coaches and actors such as Rafael Noble, Angela Gibbs and Kirk Baltz. Gina started professional acting since 2007, doing comedy for 4 years and has appeared in many comedy shows portraying characters in the World Laugh Festival 2011, 2012 and 2013, also Yangatang comedy tent amongst others. She acted in a play, Caribbean Woman directed by Hollywood actor and Trinidad born Sullivan Walker, the musical Treasure Island, and as Gaga the Witch in the TV series Starvey’s Angels. You will see Gina Parris in the short film A Story About Wendy 2 directed by Sean Hodgkinson which will show in IMAX later this year and in the short film named Break Out directed by Frances-Anne Solomon which will also show in cinema. Ryan C. Khan
Director is Ryan Khan starting episode 2 and the rest of season 1. Ryan C. Khan is a filmmaker hailing from the twin island republic of Trinidad & Tobago and prides himself on being one of the many filmmakers who are a part of the New Caribbean Artist Movement. Accolades include an award for the Tribeca Film Institute/Worldview CBA Pitch Competition at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival 2012, getting the well received music video for KES THE BAND – STRESS AWAY into the BBC Music Video Festival in 2012, participating in the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2013 as a Director and screening his 3rd short film HOW MANY TIMES? at Cannes Short Film Corner 2014.
Alister Edwards is a teaching artist and thespian from Marabella. He has been performing since his primary school days. He was given greater opportunities to explore the arts during his years at St. Benedicts’ College, joining their choir and even pursuing Visual Arts for CSEC. While at St. Benedicts’ he also was part of Presentation’s College Mixed Choir for which he was given Certificates of Merit in Musical Performance for his performances in ‘Newsis’ and lead role in ‘Treasure Island’.
After graduation he had built a reputation with his antics and his ability to draw the attention of audiences so he was encouraged to pursue theatre arts training. In 2008, Alister entered the Practitioner’s Certificate in Theatre Education, where he acted in 2 student films. Subsequently, he landed a role in ‘West Side Story’ 2011 which was produced by the Trinidad and Tobago Theatre Company. Alister then performed in two musicals: The ‘King and I’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ with First Instincts Productions.
In 2011, Mr. Edwards began his career as a Secondary School Drama teacher where he teaches and inspires his students to pursue performance opportunities outside of the school walls. In 2014, he performed with Artspire Theatre Company in their ‘The Pupil, the Parent, and the Principal’, a performance that included some of his students from Penal Secondary School.
Currently, Alister is really excited about his budding career in film. He has been working with Nicholas Attin, the owner of ‘Runaway Colony Productions’, on the upcoming local film ‘The Tomb’. Now, Gina Parris Entertainment has given him the opportunity to be part of the upcoming television series ‘The Honest Honestest Truth’.
Allan Alvarez (actor)
The young and talented Venezuelan now Trinidad resident, Allan Alvarez, isn’t only a great actor to look at he is also very athletic. He played football competitively for 10 years, and also played Water Polo and Tennis for his school teams. He is deeply in love with the arts, (acting, music, drama). He is a gifted drummer in a band for almost 4 years and attends Music classes at Holistic Music school in Cascade. He is also a popular live streamer at twitch.tv, which is the biggest gaming website in the world. He has a partnership with twitch where he makes a steady income from streaming video games and entertaining the viewers. This includes Ad revenue, Subscriber income and donations. The Honest Honestest Truth is the first acting opportunity that Alvarez has, and the producers of the show are proud to be the first to showcase this young actor to the world.
Nicholas Meah of Sound Pro, that is how he likes to call himself, is an entrepenuer from an audio visual company which specializes in the recording of audio and video events,as well as consultation services in the film and television industry. Nicholas started this from the tender age of 19 in I.B.C (institute of broadcasting Careers ) where he went on to be a broad casting announcer. Nicholas received guidance from Machel Montano’s. Meah is educated in cable etiquette, microphone placement, microphone recording, trouble shooting , setting up mixing boards and studio recording and mixing techniques and skills. When asked who Nicholas sees as a hero he named Nigel Brizan and Sean Joseph because they made his learning experience much easier and showed him studio and television techniques in connection to sound. Ayanna Cezanne is an actor/tv presenter/writer/voice talent based in Trinidad and Tobago. Daughter of a veteran broadcaster/tv personality, she was exposed to the media, music, arts and entertainment industry from a very young age. Ayanna was particularly drawn to the arts and it was while living in both the US and the UK that she began ballet, dance and drama in high school, which set the tone for a choice of academic pursuits in the area of Media and Communications, as acting then was not considered or presented as a career path that one could live off of and survive.
Ayanna attended Media Studies A’ level at Croydon College of London. Ayanna graduated with a City and Guilds Diploma in Media Law, Video and Television. Ayanna worked as a Producer/Tv Presenter and Radio Personality. Ayanna is also a freelance copywriter and runs her own creative consultancy Chimmi Churri Media Ltd. Having just completed her MA in Mass Communications, she echoes that education has been an exercise that continues to allow her greater perspective in understanding herself and her ability to push the boundaries.
Ayanna Cezanne made her debut in Sean Hodgkinson’s short film ‘A Story about Wendy’, in September 2012 and has since taken on 2 other acting projects, lead female in another short film ‘Til Death’ and ‘A Story about Wendy 2’ which won People’s Choice Award at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2014. Ayanna recently completed projects including ‘Play the Devil’ a film directed by Maria Govan for release in 2015 and the shooting of TV pilot ‘The Honest Honestest Truth’ by writer/creator/producer Gina Parris.
Actor Sumintra Jagnath
Rebecca Elias has trained and received her acting coaching in Los Angeles as well as her homeland Trinidad and Tobago by two renowned Acting Coaches; Kirk Baltz and Rafael Noble. She also had the opportunity to receive Dialect Coaching from the infamous Joy Ellison in Los Angeles, California.
Born a dancer, Rebecca has always had love for a stage. Her first main breakthrough in Trinidad was when she was casted as the lead role for a music video production, “Farmer Nappy – Bellydancer”. She is known mostly in Trinidad for her dynamic skill set in Belly Dance and has performed on stage with Belly Dance Superstar, Ansuya.
Many opportunities came her way and she can be seen gracing the presence in music videos including “Kes The Band – My Girl” and “Nicki Minaj – Pound the Alarm” to name a few. Other work included guest appearances in local films such as: “The Reef”, “Queen of Soca”, and “Between Friends”. She also landed appearances on international films and sequels such as “Locked up Abroad”.
Rebecca gained more ground as she was casted to be the main host for Triniscene.com’s live web series for Carnival. This series was streamed live on the world wide web as well as Synergy TV and covered not only Trinidad Carnival but Miami Broward Carnival as well.
In Trinidad, Rebecca is continuously working on numerous television productions, theatre productions, print and voice advertisements, as well as web/television hosting. The Honest Honestest Truth welcomes this all-rounder with much pleasure.
This dynamic sound engineer and boom operator named Kasi Foster has demonstrated his great work ethics and competence as the head sound person on The Honest Honestest Truth. Kasi began working as a sound engineer since 2004. He has work experience within and outside of Trinbago boarders. Kasi did sound engineering for films, television shows, music videos, and documentaries. His impressive work was demonstrated in television commercial with internationally renowned singer Rihanna, sound mixer for BETJ program on Trinidad Carnival, boom operator and sound assistant for UNICEF and MTV film named Tribe, and the list of his work goes on. The Honest Honestest Truth is very happy to have Kasi on board, making the show a reality.
Verena Siblal a very talented actress, will grace The Honest Honestest Truth with her fulfilling performance. She was a former television presenter for a local entertainment TV Station, Synergy TV. At synergy TV she also explored with acting by participating in several skits. Verena, was also the leading lady in Bunji Garlin’s music video “Brave Button” and in Ian Alleyne’s “Crime Watch” opening billboard.
She got her first taste of acting performing at her high school Christmas play. At the University of the West Indies she studied Elements of Drama, which broaden her understanding of the art form. Verena pursued a two year acting intensive course with LA based coaches Kirk Baltz and Rafael Noble.
Verena Siblal holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications, specializing in film and Public Relations from the The University of Leicester, England and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of the West Indies.
Her academic knowledge is complemented with her filed experience. For over two years Verena was a Television Presenter, Producer, & Script-writer for Synergy TV Wrap-Ups. Additionally, she was the Production Assistant for designing, organizing, and creating several seasonal programs such as Synergy Soca Star, Concert Series, and Karry-Yuh-Key.
She was also a Production Assistant for the popular TV franchise series Caribbean’s Next Top Model.Verena is the Marketing Director and a freelance writer, and occasionally writes for Trinidad Newsday Woman’s Magazine.
The Honest Honestest Truth welcomes young, vibrant and very talented Rebecca Foster. Rebecca is a talented successful painter. She received her acting training from LA based instructors such as Rafael Noblé, Angela Gibbs and Kirk Baltz. One of her acting roles, being the Princess Royal in Trinidad and Tobago Independence Re-enactment, was well received and appreciated by many.
We are happy to have the talented Samara Lallo in The Honest Honestest Truth. Born Samara Maria Lallo on July 3rd, 1987 to parents Margaret Rostant Lallo and Cicero Lallo and brothers; Andrew Rostant and Samir Lallo, Standing at 4feet 11inches, brown shoulder length hair dark brown eyes and weighing approximately 95lbs. Samara found her passion for the arts at the age of nine. She says “I never saw myself doing anything else” and so theatre is what she did. After attending El Dorado Secondary School for five years where she took away an award for being an outstanding Senior Prefect and graduating from the University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies 6th Form School where she held the post of social services on the Student Council, Samara went on to pursue her degree in Theatre Arts at the University of the West Indies. She graduated in October 2010.
Her first acting experience was a minor role in the church play “The Last Supper”. Samara’s on film experience started off with her helping out her friends from the film degree program with their school projects. She first launched her career in 2007/2008 both on the stage and on screen. The play being “Bitter Cassava” directed by Louis McWilliams and the Hon. Lester Efebo Wilkinson in which she played the daughter Lizzie and a woman in the chorus which took home a number of awards from the 2009 Cacique awards in Trinidad. The film was “HappySad” written by Horace Wilson and directed by Dianna “Ronya” Winters where she landed a supporting role. This film won honorable mention at the 2009 Pan African Film Festival which was held in Los Angeles and had a spot in the 2011 Trinidad and Tobago film festival. During the August vacation of 2009 Samara played a major role in the Brown Cotton’s Street Theatre Project and a minor role as well as lighted the play “Fresh Water” written and produced by Louris Martin Lee-Sing. During this time she also played a minor character in the UNICEF/MTV film “Tribes” directed by Ras Kassa. In the ending of 2012 Samara was involved in two projects; “Consider This” a docudrama which highlights the negative effects of pornography addiction written and directed by Dawn Cumberbatch and “Escape from Babylon” a thriller/action feature film written, produced and directed by Nicholas Attin. Also in 2012 she landed roles in a couple of commercials and a music video. Between major projects she works on minor non-profit projects, tries her hand at voicing commercials and attends classes through Talent Factory Film with Kirk Baltz, Rafael Noble and Angela Gibbs to further hone her acting skills and improve in film acting in particular.
When she is not in front of the camera Samara has been an actor/teacher facilitator with an interactive edutainment drama group called Arts-in-Action. In addition she has been involved with the Brown Cotton theatre Ensemble and Ville Ventures Film Company. After being the manager of Bodyart Caribbean; a local tattoo/ piercing/ airbrushing parlor for approximately 4 years, Samara is skilled at temporary airbrush tattoos and is presently an Electronic Production Assistant at an advertising agency.
In the future Samara hopes to land more roles as well as more major roles in more movies that can further advance her career. She also hopes to make it to Hollywood with the big guns of the industry so she can have a profitable career and comfortable life for herself and her family.
The Honest Honestest Truth would like to welcome the Comedian Cyclops to the Cast. Cyclops is a well known comedian in Trinidad and Tobago also the Caribbean. He has been in entertainment for 17 years, he performed with Yangatang, Randy Glasgow Productions, Spectacular Promotions, Maljo Kaiso, He also acted in television series like The Reef produced by Danielle Diefffenthaller and Snacks produced by Gayelle. Cyclops performed all over the world in countries such as England, USA and most of the Caribbean countries except for Jamaica. We are happy to have him on our team.

The Honest Honestest Truth welcomes a new actor on cast welcome Jason Williams (JW) singer of the hit song Palance. Jason is a TV, radio and Soca personality. He is one of the hosts of The Grand Slam Morning show. JW and Blaze made history in Trinidad and Tobago because they became the first disk jockey to win Road March with Palance. Thanks JW for supporting local talent and The Honest Honestest Truth BOOOOOOMMM.
Errol Fabien was born in Gonzales Village, Guapo, in 1960 to Gloria and Andrew Fabien. Errol was one of nine children and attended Guapo Government School, where his father was vice principal. He attended Naparima College for secondary schooling and it was here that he discovered his passion for acting. He became involved in the theatre at school where he appeared in the secondary school’s drama festival. In 1978, he joined the West Indian Theatre Company and was introduced to the world of comedy. Fabien stayed with the West Indian Theatre Company until 1982, when he began freelancing as an actor.
Errol is known for his theatre performances in Monster March, Seasons, Beef no Chicken, The Fantastic’s, Ti Jean and Mariquite, Smile Orange, Adult Suffrage,School’s Out and Accidental Death of an Anarchist to name a few. He is perhaps also lesser known for his film roles inFlight of the Ibis and Secrets of the Shell. Over the past twenty-five (25) years Errol has been involved in many aspects of the performing arts. He is an Actor, Writer, Producer, M.C., Comedian and Director for stage, radio and television. Fabien has appeared in over forty (40) plays and has worked with most of the corporate bodies in Trinidad and Tobago. He has also demonstrated his amazing versatility as a performer by entering the calypso arena. In doing so, in 1999 he received the ‘BEST NEW MALE ARTIST ‘award at the Sunshine Awards in Manhattan, for his composition Ato Tea Party.
Mr. Fabien has also made a name for himself by writing and producing revues in Trinidad and Tobago in a way that locals could relate to. These include The Young and the Restless, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Michael Jackson Scandal, Tarzan and Jane, In Parliament, Elections 95, The Bold and the Boldfaceand The Bill Clinton Scandal. He served as President of the National Drama Association of Trinidad and Tobago from 1994-1999. During the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2000 season, Errol co-pioneered the first ever humorous calypso tent,Yangatang, which later became Maljo Kaiso. For three years Errol was a host to a morning drive-time radio talk show program Mixed Nuts. His then co-host, George Gonzales, would later go on to share the spotlight with him on a live television comedy show, Sunset Strip. In February 2004 this artist teamed up with Banyan Ltd and started Trinidad’s first Community Television Station, “Gayelle the Channel”. He is today the Executive Director of this innovative television initiative. Errol is also a recovering drug addict, who embraced recovery in March 1988 and has today remained completely drug-free for over twenty-one years. Errol also talks to youths and other recovering addicts across Trinidad and Tobago on a regular basis about his experiences while he was an active Drug Addict. Errol is the father of seven children and maintains that no matter what fame or possible fortune life may bring, his family will always be at the top of his ‘To-Do List’.

Besides acting Rene also has singing and dancing under his belt. Some of the things this all-rounder performed in are: Presentation College men’s choir, Presentation mixed choir, Choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Theatre Production Heavenly Choices, he dabbled in TV advertisement, and he was part of two dance crews one at the competitive level and one based in UWI. Mr. Gopaul is also a young entrepreneur he is the Managing/Director and founder of at Function 13 Ltd, a marketing company (you can visit it on Facebook). The Honest Honestest Truth TV series would like to welcome Louris Martin Lee- Sing on board as the co-producer of the show. Louris was president of the National Drama Association of Trinidad and Tobago, Programme Manager at CNC3 she is also founder of Brown Cotton Outreach. Louris has 20 years acting experience and to put icing on the cake Production Manager for the movie Between Friends, co producer of the film No Soca, No Life, locations Manager for the movie Home Again with actress Tatyana Ali and Casting Director for the movie Pan!
